Training Analyst - Ethics and Compliance

The Ethics and Compliance Training Program Analyst plays an important role in helping Western Digital to train key target demographics through both in-person and online training, thereby supporting the needs of the business. The Ethics and Compliance Training Program Analyst will be an integral member of the Ethics and Compliance Group in the Legal Department and will report to Ethics and Compliance Training Program leadership.


  • Support the development and administration of the Company’s Ethics and Compliance Training Program for delivering compliance training content to 70,000 employees worldwide
  • Coordinate, plan, and administer online training modules
  • Coordinate, plan, and facilitate delivery of instructor-led classes
  • Participate in the project management, development and implementation of Annual, New Hire, and Targeted Legal Training
  • Work with subject matter experts and training content vendors to coordinate timely development of training modules
  • Assist in management of Learning Management System (LMS) database and LMS user accounts for tracking employee development and training initiatives
  • Upload and test eLearning SCORM and AICC compliance modules to test LMS functionality
  • Use LMS to enter and monitor employee training completion, develop and maintain training reports and statistics, and run library and custom reports
  • Monitor the accuracy and integrity of data entered and maintained with the LMS and resolve data inconsistencies
  • Work with business partners to field training-related inquires and provide system support to employee LMS users
  • Perform administrative duties associated with conducting instructor-led training (including pre-training prep work, administering schedules, creating and processing sign-in sheets and post-training assessments, travel coordination, conference room & IT setup, training calendar invitations and management, etc.)
  • Other special projects and duties as assigned

  • Honesty, integrity, and a positive, can-do attitude and approach in the workplace
  • Experience working as an LMS administrator or data analyst
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, including pivot tables, vlookup
  • Experience working in the legal and/or ethics and compliance fields a plus
  • Experience working inside a global company is preferred, but not required
  • Project management experience is preferred, but not required
  • College degree is preferred, but not required
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent presentation, communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively and constructively in a team environment
  • Proven troubleshooting, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work, including having follow-through and discipline to stay on track with projects
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment, including focusing when needed on the matter at hand
  • Strong work ethic and ability to produce high quality work product under deadline pressures
  • Ability to work effectively in a global environment and sensitivity to cultural differences
  • Position requires little to no travel
