ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead, manage, and inspire a video team of 5-8 Creatives located at 3 different California locations
  • Establish the conceptual direction, orchestrate the work, and empower the team to deliver a high volume of projects on-time and on-message  
  • Partner closely with Marcom and Design teams for lockstep development and delivery of projects
  • Thrive on the challenge of quick-turn projects while ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, business objectives, and our long-term strategic vision 
  • Carry a project through from conception to execution and finalization
  • Articulate and present winning concepts to management and proactively evangelize cross-functionally to internal teams
  • Management of our Recording Studio facility, equipment, usability, and scheduling
  • Champion and lead by example for a smart and healthy organization, mentor and grow the careers of your reports
  • Budget management and reporting, including forecasting

 

REQUIRED:

  • BS/BA/AA degree in video production or related field strongly preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in video production; including planning, creative concepting, storyboarding, lighting, filming, directing, editing in an agency and/or corporate environment
  • Minimum of 3 years managing a team (3 people minimum)
  • Global consumer and/or B2B electronics industry experience
  • Must be proficient in HD video workflow: Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Final Cut Studio Suite, with technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills. (Cinema 4D a plus)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products
  • Committed team player, mentor, and coach
  • Strong creative talent, skilled written and verbal communicator
  • Excellent problem-solving ability, project management, and process refinement skills
  • Ability to design and manage a scalable organization

  • Proficiency in managing multiple concurrent projects and clients/accounts
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, proactively collaborative, and team-oriented
  • Portfolio samples of recent work
