ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain the Procurement career model.
  • Develop and maintain a Curriculum of procurement courses, certifications, education events, recommended reading.
  • Maintain the Procurement Connect – intranet for company’s user to find the right person or tools quickly.
  • Support the definition and promotion of procurement open positions.
  • Manage open procurement positions.
  • Develop ways to be recognized and lead the procurement awards program.
  • Lead education events.
  • Review and publish recommended reading.
  • Procurement Connect – maintain up to date.
  • Data collection and management of fact -based decision making in Procurement.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education: Bachelor’s required; Master's/MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years experience in procurement/supply chain; with a minimum 2 years’ experience in a Consulting firm.
  • Strong technical skills in area of study.
  • Prefer experience in HDD, flash, semiconductor, components, nonvolatile memory industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking.
  • Complex problem solving and decision making.
  • Service orientation.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
