The Senior Manager of Sales Operations will lead a team of Sales Operations Specialists and will oversee business execution and adherence to Western Digital policies. In this role, the Sr. Manager will partner with our Americas OEM and Channel Sales Management on the overall management of customer accounts, delivering best in class service to our regional OEM and distribution partners in the US, Canada and Latin America



  • Ensure regular and effective communication with customers, sales and cross functional teams within the company

  • Oversee sales operations account support, identify problems and take corrective actions to achieve optimal results, including managing backlog, scheduling orders and providing product availability information

  • Focus and proactively strive to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency to customer service level metrics and identify initiatives to improve these metrics

  • Own in-quarter account demand forecast by working with sales and customers’ planning teams to understand consumption trends and plans as part of managing the operating rhythms of the supply chain.

  • Work closely with demand and supply planning, logistics and finance teams to optimize order to cash cycle

  • Report monthly & quarterly revenue attainment and identify potential risks/opportunities to revenue plans


Manage a team of Sales Operations Specialists whose primary duties are as follows:

  • Daily backlog management, including credit hold resolution
  • Facilitate timely resolution for non-conformance orders and work with the Fulfillment/Logistics teams on preventive actions
  • Communicate to customers order ship schedule, new product ship dates, product availability and changes on the pricelist
  • Provide sales support and work pro-actively with Sales on new sales opportunities
