The Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for the management and coordination of all demand generation programs for Western Digital products and solutions for Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan markets, and based in Singapore. The incumbent will work directly with Western Digital Distributors, Retailers, Etailers, VARs, System Integrators, Alliance Partners and vendors/marketing agencies to help drive demand generation activities in alignment with the company’s goals/objectives and allocated budget.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 Planning, management & allocation of regional channel marketing budget
 Support the Sales Organization and Business Units by implementing demand generation/channel marketing programs & activities that will help achieve sales targets and market share, across various target segments including B2C and B2B.
 Create market pull for Western Digital products, both at brand level as well as toward specific product segments.
 Ensure consistent Western Digital branding and messaging through the various touch-points.
 Develop bundles and joint marketing activities with other manufacturers to create value added programs.
 Manage/creation and placement of channel advertising when needed.
 Develop and maintain productive and strong relationships with all channel partners and cross functional teams such as sales, product marketing, marcom, business operations, PR and Digital marketing.
 Be updated with market conditions and competitive environment
 Understand supply and demand with key channel partners to drive sell out programs
 Complete special projects, reports, results & analysis as needed
 Program measurement, trends and analyze ROI on all marketing events/activities
 Insure constant WD visibility on all partner websites in concordance with WD logo & image usage guidelines
 Work with Marcom/key stakeholders to ensure consistent and accurate messaging throughout all localized marketing materials
 Develop effective end user marketing programs/promotions both retail and online, as well as channel partner programs to drive sell out in support of sales goals
 Track all MDF budget & spending
 Timely reports submission

Education and/or Experience
 Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent. 
 8+ years business experience. Involvement in marketing-oriented projects strongly preferred
 Regional experience and in IT industry preferred
 Aptitude to understand hard drive/storage technology
 Good knowledge of market research disciplines
 Good knowledge of business plan disciplines
 Clearly communicate in verbal and written forms (English and Mandarin)
