PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the total experience of the platform, not just a single feature. Always be cognizant of the overall experience of the user and keep consistency throughout the platform.
  • Cultivate and sustain industry-specific needs and problems. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to conceptualize the solutions in a simple and elegant manner.
  • Work closely with Product Manager to understand the requirement, the market, and goals of various personas.
  • Create detailed user flows, wireframes, low & high fidelity mockups based on requirements from Product Management. Effectively and clearly communicate UX to relevant teams.
  • Design and deliver UX for Web (responsive) and Mobile (iOS and Android)
  • Collaborate with the team and enhance the feature’s UX by iterating. Be in charge of the UX until the delivery of the workflow.
  • Quickly iterate and offer suggestions based on design review from peers or learning found in user testing.
  • Explore and consistently capture edge-cases/negative-cases and their subsequent flows so the engineering team can implement them.
  • Perform UX research along with Product Manager to identify areas of improvement that can enhance user experience. Clearly articulate issues and suggest ways to reduce user friction.
