As a Marketing Automation and Demand Generation Specialist, reporting to the Sr. Manager of the Digital Experience Team, you will collaborate primarily with marketing and internal resources to help execute B2B and B2C marketing and demand generation programs that result in lead generation, pipeline creation, drive customer retention and support the sales team efforts for incremental revenue opportunities. You will help communicate Western Digitals’ family of brand values, messaging and product developments as you successfully contribute to these initiatives. 

  • Lead and execute global demand gen campaigns end-to-end from target identification to post-campaign reporting.
  • Work with the internal marketing team and/or third-party resources to develop appropriate digital collateral (email templates, landing pages, forms etc.)
  • Create nurture campaign flows for prospects and customers.
  • Set up, testing, execution and reporting on Marketo-based campaigns for lead management, lead nurturing, lead scoring and lead routing.
  • Construct views and dashboards for all campaigns, leads, prospects, opportunities, pipeline, contact, account and revenue activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Work closely with the marketing team and sales operations (CRM) leadership to drive data and process optimizations for both Salesforce.com and Marketo.
  • Drive/Support the marketing automation process
  • A/B and multivariate testing and optimization
  • Continually optimize email and landing page performance through iterative testing
  • Build, test, and deploy campaigns in Marketo
  • Develop regular analytics reporting for campaigns to key stakeholders
  • Maintain a strong technical understanding of Marketo and CRM platforms, including campaign management in both systems, contact management, lead tracking, segmenting, reporting, and basic CRM/third-party integration
  • Respond and resolve inbound user case requests. Identify and rectify day-to-day data quality issues within the operational processes.
  • Identify trends and suggest long term solutions.
  • Focus on improving follow-through, effectiveness and performance of marketing initiatives through testing within campaigns and programs and reporting results/solutions.
  • Provide regular reporting that provides metrics and results of marketing performance that is in line with our overall marketing KPIs.
  • Support creating and updating standard marketing operating procedures and identifying process improvements.
  • Responsible for keeping the marketing calendars up-to-date with related email campaigns and webinars.Maintain programs and campaigns within Marketo to ensure accuracy of data and related records.
  • Assist with other demand gen marketing activities as needed including lead management, data cleanup, team training and campaign analytics.
  • BA/BS or higher degree in communications, marketing, business or related fieldStrong proficiency in Marketo. 
  • Marketo certified expert is preferred
  • Strong proficiency in leading Email Marketing Platforms
  • 2 years demonstrated success executing marketing campaigns with expertise using Marketo including best practice, database management, smartlist development, setup, testing, launching and scoring of campaigns and programs, and reporting on campaign analytics
  • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • 2-3 years Salesforce.com experience
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSSJavascript experience is a plus
  • Coding for responsive web design and email is a plus
  • Efficient with design tools (Adobe Suite)Acute attention to detail
  • Extremely organized and highly accountable to deadlines
  • Resourceful self-starter/problem solver
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are mandatory
