The Global Talent Acquisition team at Western Digital is looking for a Senior Manager, TA Shared Services & Programs to lead the sourcing and recruiting coordination teams as well as oversee the Internal Talent Marketplace and Employee Referral programs.  In this role, you will collaborate with the Talent Acquisition leaders to understand recruiting demands in order to allocate sourcing and coordination resources effectively.  

ESSENTIALS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead/manage sourcing team members responsible for curating talent communities and creatively identifying and engaging top talent
  • Ensure optimal sourcing team member output and delivery through coaching and mentoring on the following: delivery, consultative skills, innovative best practices, candidate engagement practices and building talent communities, managing expectations and service level agreements
  • Consult, advise and influence strategies around talent market insights, competitive intelligence and talent demographics
  • Contribute to the strategy and implementation of diversity and inclusion initiatives within the development of sourcing strategies
  • Lead/manage recruiting coordinators responsible for core scheduling and coordination of recruiting activities and interview scheduling
  • Identify and contribute to TA process improvement opportunities
  • Develop and evolve sourcing and recruiting coordination performance metrics and integrate continuous feedback mechanism to include recruiter feedback and hiring manager inputs in order to continuously improve team performance
  • Compile and analyze data and metrics to support resource allocation decisions
  • Build a scalable sourcing and recruitment coordination support model
  • Manage tracking and execution of the employee referral program and internal job marketplace programs by leading communication and promotion of the programs, analyzing data to measure program success, implementing program improvements and facilitating change management to accelerate adoption
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 8-10 years of talent acquisition experience in recruiting, sourcing and/or TA programs with a minimum of 2 years management experience
  • Proven ability to mentor, coach and develop others
  • Demonstrated experience developing strong, collaborative relationships
  • Ability to effectively influence, calibrate and communicate cross-functionally
  • Strong interpersonal and consultative skills
  • Experience working with an ATS
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues independently, will take initiative - solid sense of accountability and sound personal judgment
  • Excellent customer service and bias for action
