This position will be responsible for managing the Global fixed asset accounting and the Quality, Productivity and Project management process in our Laguna, Philippines based Global Finance shared service center (SSC) supporting US, Europe and Asia reporting to Philippine SSC’s Finance Director. The Senior Manager is responsible to ensure timely, accurate and efficient accounting, reporting, controls and transaction process are in place. The primary responsibilities include:

Direct and oversee the day to day activities of the US Fixed asset process ensuring compliance with corporate SOX and key controls, adherence to US GAAP, IFRS and other statutory requirements and support for audit requirement
Management of the Global consolidation of Fixed assets Corporate and US SEC reporting
Provide Support and accounting guidance to the fixed asset site accountants. She will also lead any Corporate initiated projects on fixed assets and initiate improvements on the process
Effectively work and maintain key relationships with business area customers to ensure service requirements are met or exceeded
Management of the SSC’s Control and Compliance process to ensure processes including Accounts Payable, Expense Reporting, Accounts Receivable, Fixed assets and General Accounting are in compliance with corporate SOX and Operational controls are effective.
Monitor Philippine SSC’s Key metrics and reporting processes. Enhance efficiency by developing and implementing process and technology improvements and work together with the Process owners on process improvements to strive for best practice.

Required Skills:

Deep familiarity with finance and accounting knowledge and services for processes in a shared service center including Accounts Payable, Expense Reporting, Accounts Receivable, Fixed assets and General Accounting
Experience in management of SSC’s Operational excellence process including management of internal controls, team metrics, implementation of technology and executing process improvements.
Experience in transitioning accounting and finance transactions from one location to another
Excellent verbal and written English skills
Sound process orientation
Proven results orientation

Must have an accounting college degree with 10+ years finance and accounting experience.

Preferred Skills:

Master Degree in Accounting/Finance
CPA or Chartered Accountant
Experience with a publicly traded Multi-National manufacturing Company
Best practices familiarity and benchmarking capabilities
Strong ability to scale from transactional details to high level strategic thinking
