Western Digital is seeking a Global Digital Marketing and Social Media Manager for its B2B customer segment. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall global B2B social media strategy, working with a cross-functional team to plan, create and execute digital content and campaigns with the goal of driving awareness, engagement and conversions for Western Digital’s enterprise product portfolio. You will also work with key partnerships as part of our Go-To-Market planning. Your knowledge, understanding and expertise of B2B Marketing will build awareness of Western Digital’s solutions and help drive leads for the sales team.

You are an avid marketer who enjoys creative, empathetic, and energetic story-telling. You are passionate about digital marketing and social media. You also have a keen appreciation for technology, as well as experience working within the B2B industry. Understanding ABM and digital marketing tools such as analytics, search, display, videos, mobile that build awareness, engagement and leads is critical to this role.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive the global digital B2B strategy across multiple regions to deliver a cohesive and consistent brand experience to Western Digital
  • Direct, develop, create, and curate compelling content for social media editorial calendars that can be leveraged across platforms and global channels
  • Work with partners and influencers to curate content and drive social content across social channels
  • Identify the “right” strategic partnerships for Western Digital that provide clear ROI and deliver measurable results
  • Develop,  concept, and execute ABM and thought leadership social campaigns for B2B audiences
  • Coordinate campaign planning with internal & external stakeholders
  • Participate in internal meetings and provide product/market input
  • Participate in industry events and shows to curate social content
  • Perform community management on various social media channels and establish the outward “B2B” voice for the company
  • Establish KPIs that measure the effectiveness of digital content and campaigns globally
  • Liaison with regional marketing teams to provide content and B2B best practices for digital and social media
  • Develop a best practice of A/B testing creative, copy, audience targets, etc. to measure and assess social media performance and make adjustments accordingly to improve reach and engagement


QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • 2+ years of marketing, digital or social media marketing experience for a reputable brand
  • Experienced in social media platforms (especially LinkedIn), tools, and community management and personal user
  • Excellent copywriting skills, detail oriented and organized
  • Ability to work globally with a large number of stakeholders and manage deadlines on multiple projects
  • Good analytical skills to make data-driven decisions
  • Ability interface and present across the organization, including at the executive level
  • Experience with Facebook Ads Manager, Twitter Ads, Google Adwords and Sprinklr
  • Photoshop experience is a plus
  • Photography experience is a plus
  • Video editing experience is a plus
