We are looking for a motivated sales person with 2 – 3 years Partner Management experience and 5 – 6 years of industry experience.   This person should have connections within the reseller community, as well as, some end user account relationships.  The ideal candidate has a proven record of exceeding sales quotas, can identify, recruit, and onboard Value-Added Resellers quickly and effectively to assist with growing sales pipeline for the team.  Candidate must have the ability to collaborate effectively with regional and vertical-focused field sales executives, field sales engineers, and lead generation resources to maximize revenue.
 
Identify, onboard and enable a lead generating partner community in an (10) state territory with focus on NY, NJ, PA, DE, CT, RI, MA, VT, NH & ME.  As a self-disciplined professional, recruit and grow partners who can identify and manage Western Digital Data Center Solutions sales campaigns.  Support partners by conducting training, seminars, education and sales enablement.  The Partner Manager will manage resellers, distribution and alliance partners to drive sales growth through those accounts, as well as, help develop and implement sales strategies for increasing sales production and efficiencies. Position will carry a quota for an assigned territory and report to the Regional Manager of Enterprise Partner Sales.
 
Job Requirements
  • Develop relationships with key regional Value-Added Resellers for the growth of our product offerings within their markets and customer base
  • Recruit, Ramp and Grow VAR relationships and performance
  • Support joint marketing programs targeted to increase demand
  • Assess and improve performance of the channel, develop sales and technical capabilities, create sales pipeline, and improve the accuracy of forecasting opportunities within the channel
  • Traveling as necessary within territory (estimated at 50% of the time)
 
Desired Skills and Experience
  • 2 to 3 years selling server/storage solutions through Channel Partners
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization, time management, and planning skills
  • Self-motivated, results driven, team player
