Western Digital, located in Tefen Industrial Park (north), is looking for a Reliability Testing Engineer.

As a WD Reliability testing engineer, you will play a key role in reliability of flash products. In this role, you will work closely with reliability engineers and R&D teams to develop, run and analyze & report reliability test on the current and future products of WD.

You will also be responsible for analyzing the test results, monitor failures, and do a deep dive failure analyses; therefore, an advanced understanding of test flows, Testing framework and flash failure mode is necessary as well.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop of product and system level reliability tests, including hands on testing
  • Write clean, maintainable code following best practices (unit testing, source control, continuous integration, etc.) according to product/customer Spec
  • Debug code and troubleshoot problems
  • Debug product failures troubleshoot problems
  • Conduct test data analysis, clearly communicate & report test results, and collaborate with design and reliability engineers to resolve issues detected in testing
  • Provide Failure Mode and Effects Analysis reviews and report on your findings
  • Design and implement next generation products test systems, to facilitate reliable design characterization and accelerated life testing
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, reliability, and manufacturing engineers to suggest design and/or process improvements and to address reliability issues based on understanding of failure root causes
  • Train technicians/engineers to operate and troubleshoot test flows

 Job Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience designing/developing/performing product level testing and failure mode and effects analysis reviews - Mandatory
  • Hands-on experience with Python - Mandatory
  • Engineering degree in Electrical, Software engineering - Mandatory
  • Reliability Hands-on testing – Advantage
  • Automation Hands-on experience – Advantage
  • Experience working with Flash products – Advantage
  • Ability to multi-task and operate effectively in highly integrative environment – Mandatory
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills- Mandatory
  • Motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail
