From developing new accounts to driving expansion across existing accounts, our Enterprise Sales team develop relationships with the end-users of our target organizations to generate significant revenue growth. They always do this in tight partnership with our 100% channel model and our eco-system partner base.

As the Regional Sales Manager, you are responsible for managing Western Digital’s Data Center Systems Storage Products & Services through partners to end-users in a specified geographic area or, target prospect base. They manage a team of highly skilled, and passionate individual contributors from junior to senior levels. 

This management role drives the coordination of activities of a Region, with full responsibility for oversight in terms of costs, methods and staffing. They will act as an advisor or subject matter expert. They will demonstrate strong verbal and written communications skills, including presentation skills and will have strong relationship building and negotiating skills to collaborate with functional peers across functions including Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, Customer Support, and Product Management. 

  • Establish sales through management of regional sales teams with a lead from the front attitude
  • Attains team revenue and margin targets by mentoring, coaching and guiding team members
  • Always operates with a high level of integrity and ethics
  • Provides direction, development and inspiration to team members 
  • Manages the hiring, staffing and maintaining of a diverse and effective workforce 
  • Drive sales strategies and sales promotion campaigns to optimize budget ROI 
  • Responsible for career development/planning, performance and pay discussions of team members 
  • Frequently engaged with clients and in always elevating partner relationships to win/win status
  • Responsible for organizing cross functional teams' engagement with accounts 


  • Typically 12+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience  
  • Typically requires 4+ years managerial/leadership experience 
  • Drives training and professional development plans for organization 
  • High level understanding of our Enterprise customer/industry climate 
  • Strong understanding of storage technologies and competitive offerings in the marketplace
  • Proven track record of success in data center solutions sales
