As the Customer Factory Experience Engineer, you will manage Customer Factory, Sub-tier, Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Audits & Visits. You will be the focal point to channel non-functional or cosmetic customer complaints into action for closure. You are responsible to publish Factory Product Performance (FPP), customer requested factory reports and customer qualification packages. You are mature personnel with good interpersonal and communication skills. You should be an independent and self-motivated engineer with ability to adapt and work in a multicultural environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Host Customer Factory, Sub-tier, Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Audits & Visits by preparing agenda, presentation and line tour according to customer visit/audit objectives and expectations.
  • Drive complete and thorough 8D report on non-function or cosmetic customer complaints with the support of cross-functional teams.
  • Publish Factory Product Performance (FPP), customer requested factory reports and customer qualification packages per customer requirement. 
  • Review First Article Inspection (FAI) report prior submission to requester or customer.
  • Collaborate with customer support groups and related process owners to review and consolidate customer Questionnaire/ Checklist/ Assessment for submission.
  • Support customer support groups to analyze factory related data or information upon request.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor or higher degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering/ Science or related field.
PREFERRED:
  • Previous working experience in Storage industry with customer support or QA functions.
  • Knowledge and application of Quality Tools like Statistical Process Control (SPC), Failure mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), Design of Experiment (DOE) or its equivalent. Knowledge of Six Sigma or Six Sigma Green Belt will be added advantage.
SKILLS:
  • Mature personnel with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Possess very strong logical and objective analytical skills.
  • IT proficiency and good skill in reports preparation and presentation.
  • Independent and self-motivated. Ability to adapt and work in a multicultural environment.
