ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist and, in some cases, lead international tax planning and special projects
  • Research, analyze, interpret and apply outbound US international tax laws and principles
  • Prepare tax models, calculations, and research memoranda
  • Coordinate and collaborate with external local country tax advisors on various local tax issues
  • Review, assist, and provide technical expertise with regards to international income tax compliance (Forms 1118, 5471, 8865, 8858, disclosures, and related forms and calculations.)
  • Identify emerging international tax issues and determine the potential impact to the Company
  • Assist local country controllers with local tax issues
  • Research, analyze, and assist with cash management planning (dividends, intercompany loans, etc.)
 
REQUIRED:
  • 8 to 10 years of combined Federal and/or International income tax experience
  • Minimum of 6 years of international tax experience
  • Mix of public and private accounting/tax experience preferred
  • BS/BA degree in Accounting and/or JD
  • Preferred Master of Tax degree
  • Preferred CPA
  • Ability to research, analyze, interpret and apply international tax laws and principles
  • Must have significant understanding of core international tax concepts including income sourcing, expense apportionment & allocation, E&P, foreign tax
    credit, GILTI, FDII, Section 965, and Subpart F.
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and change in priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate international tax FAS109 knowledge
  • Intermediate to expert knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required
  • Ability to create detailed spreadsheets/modeling, Powerpoint, and prepare accounting entries
