A Wafer Controller is a Business Partner to Wafer GM and the GMs for both manufacturing facilities, Great Oaks and Fremont, a one-stop shop for all Business and Finance related decision making.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible to proactively drive product efficiency and achievement of corporate cost targets
  • Be a mentor and coach to the staff of 4 senior analysts
  • The candidate must possess at least 15 years of relevant experience and 10+ years of leadership roles in a Manufacturing organization
  • Extensive knowledge in Product Costing is a must
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills are required
REQUIRED:
  • Must possess at least 15 years of relevant experience
  • 10+ years of leadership roles in a Manufacturing organization
    • Ideally in Wafer Manufacturing
  • Experience managing a team of 4+
  • Extensive knowledge in Product Costing is imperative  
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills are required
  • First-hand product cost experience – i.e. cost variances, fixed cost absorption, manufacturing yields, inventory management, etc.
