As Director, Digital Strategy you will develop and drive digital strategy for Western Digital. You will leverage data insights and be responsible for providing strategic thought leadership recommendations for marketing. The ideal candidate will be able to think holistically about how data, analytics and various marketing levers can be utilized to support a cohesive brand and target audience acquisition and retention. You will seek for an alignment between business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, go-to-market programs and the corporate brand experience
  • Develop the company’s digital strategy with the transformation of business processes, Western Digital’s brand and our family of brands.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the disciplines of digital marketing & programs, content strategy, digital analytics & analysis, marketing technology, human resources, sales, SEM/SEO, and social media (and other relevant teams) to ensure alignment with corporate strategy.
  • Analyze and visualize data to reveal trends in program performance and customer behavior, and identify key opportunities based on analysis.
  • Build a culture of usability with an emphasis on creating the optimal user experience, leveraging analysis and insight to establish recommended action for positive change.
  • Establish, communicate and evangelize the strategy across the organization, what is the corporation trying to achieve, using those objectives and be guided by the stakeholders responsible for revenue and profits.
  • Perform competitive and market analysis to identify trends across both the B2C and B2B landscapes, buying habits, GTM trends, Best and new ways to drive traffic.
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative market research to continuously refine the strategic plan
  • Establish priorities based on the value to the business: including cost, schedule, synergies across projects and tie them together to reduce costs and maximize ROI.



  • 10+ years of digital marketing experience, preferably in B2B environment.
  • Well-versed in marketing disciplines related to the Internet, social media, analytics, customer relationship management, website development and other facets of internet marketing.
  • Acute attention to accuracy and detail with ability to oversee complex, cross-functional projects; aligning multiple stakeholders to achieve business goals.
  • Strong knowledge/experience in analytics and social listening tools.
  • High energy, hands-on, creative thinking and risk-taking.
