  • Builds data pipelines to pull together Development data from Corporate cloud computing (e.g., AWS, BDP Edge) database by working with IT database engineer business counterpart;
  • Conducts ETL (Extract, Transform & Load) to integrate, consolidate and clean data set to prepare data analysis;
  • Identifies relevant data sets needed for wafer parametric and BE performance;
  • Provide data visualization tool (Spotfire) and set up dashboards for R&D team’s engineering analysis;
  • Co-work with team on data source and required parametric to applies expertise in statistics and building machine learning models to explore correlation among different group of data,  makes predictions on head physical, wafer level, back end, and performance;
  • Recommends solutions to improve wafer process, yield, efficiency and give insight for new technology understanding;
  • Validate Data visualization and Prediction models.
  • Strong background in data analytics. 2+ years of experience in Data Analytics for HDD or Semiconductor industry is preferable.
  • MS or PhD in Computer Science, EE, Data Science, Statistics or related disciplines.
  • Outstanding statistical analysis skill, proficient in JMP, Matlab, SQL etc. 
  • Creative, self-motivated, honest, and team player
  • Experience in  Python, Machine learning techniques
  • Knowledge in Data visualization software such as Spotfire and Tableau.
