As a member of the Contract Management Organization (within the Global Technology & Commercial Legal Services Team), this individual will provide high-quality legal counseling and support to Western Digital’s Strategic Sourcing Organization, including negotiation of commercial agreements and collaboration with internal stakeholders and outside counsel.  
This full-time position is based at Western Digital’s offices in Kfar Saba, Israel.

Responsibilities include:
• Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and finalizing commercial contracts, including, but not limited to, non-disclosure agreements, professional services agreements, purchase agreements, engagement letters, statements of works, amendments, and other business/legal documents in close collaboration with internal clients.
• Completing, and overseeing completion of, administrative tasks associated with maintenance of contract management database.
• Offer proactive advice on possible legal issues including the evaluation of different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations.
• Specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor privacy compliance (procurement deals + Israeli compliance), Israeli Ministry of Defense (export control) matters.
• Identifying and advising internal clients on risks associated with each transaction and proposing practical/strategic risk mitigation strategies in connection with commercial transactions.
• Working closely with commercial attorneys and contract administrators within the Contract Management Organization. 
• Supporting various aspects of the contract management process, including use and management of Western Digital’s internal contracts management tool/application.  
• Support the continuous improvement of standard templates and processes impacting the legal department.
• Working on special projects, as needed. 

• 1-2 years of relevant transactional experience in a leading law firm and/or in-house legal department drafting, reviewing, and negotiating in English.
• Ability to effectively identify goals and communicate and identify risks and proposed go-forward strategies with internal business clients.
• Strong attention to details and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and diverse internal stakeholders.
• Track record of providing high-quality, timely results on a wide variety of contract matters.
• Self-starter who takes ownership of work and demonstrates the ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.
• Effectively bi-lingual with a very good command of the English language (written and spoken).
• Experience with automated procurement and contract creation software applications-advantage.

Additional Qualifications:

• Law degree (LLB) from accredited law school (or equivalent experience)
