We’re searching for a highly qualified chief of staff to manage productivity, strategic initiatives, overseeing program management, and communicating objectives between departments. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in engineering project management role with vast technical background, with a special focus on executive-level advising and interdepartmental collaboration.   

Objectives of this Role

·       Operational support for the engineering organization including planning, facilitation, process improvement and tracking of action items and follow up

·       Oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution

·       Managing the EPM team (Engineering Program Manager)

·       Review, design and execute process improvement strategy, goal setting and communications, find knowledge and skills gaps and help address them

·       Coordination of yearly budgeting and planning activities and ongoing tracking of performance against budget

·       Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity

·       Serve as liaison between global and local staff, executives, senior leaders and management, regarding project updates, proposals and planning.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Engineering/ Industrial Management
  • 10+ years of strong technical background and the ability to write/interpret/review performance requirements
  • Experience with AGILE/SCRUM methods - Must have
  • Vast experience working with JIRA- Must have
  • Experience with data analysis- Must have
  • Experience with large scale budget management- Must have
  • Experience working in a global Hi-Tech company
  • Analytical problem solving and process improvement skills
  • Outstanding program management skills to organize a busy workload and deliver projects on time
  • Capable of strong individual contribution and influence direct and across non-direct reporting teams
  • Ability to excel in an ambiguous environment, strategic and complex business activity
  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on execution
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a cross-functional environment to develop solutions that maximize business results
  • Ability to transform general strategic direction into tactical action plans, with validation from stakeholders
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to communicate advanced analytical concepts and complex quantitative analysis in a concise, clear and actionable manner.
