Content Solutions Business Unit focuses on storage solutions for the consumer.  We cater to customers worldwide: On-line marketplaces like Amazon, JD and Flipkart and Brick & Mortar retailers like Best Buy, Walmart and Media Markt. Our assortment includes memory cards, USB flash drives, SSDs, external HDDs, gaming, and wireless products.


As the Business Planning Manager, you will be responsible for tracking the BU’s progress to our revenue target by managing constrained supply/demand situations and landing the quarter’s results as close to the plan as possible. 


You must be able to quickly develop strong working relationships with multiple organizations (Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations) and team members, to accurately formulate a strategy for each demand/supply situation, to articulately communicate and escalate it when needed, to provide direction across multiple organizations and to follow up each activity to completion. 


This role is a wonderful opportunity to learn efficient execution and successful communication.  It provides a front row seat to managing a business unit.



  • Constrained supply monitoring: Identify, monitor and report supply shortages as they arise.
  • Worldwide allocation: Provide direction to Sales, Product Planning, Business Ops, and factory regarding supply and allocation decisions
  • Forecast alignment: Collaborate with Demand Planning on aligning forecast with shortages and allocation across all regions
  • New product ramp: Collaborate with Product Management and Marketing on product allocation for new product introduction and ramp
  • End of quarter execution: Collaborate with Finance and Business Ops on meeting our revenue targets
  • Excess inventory: Work with Sales and Pricing managers on excess inventory opportunities for consumption
  • System and Process: Help define system service level targets and demand prioritization with Operations
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Data Analytics or related fields
  • Ability to analyze processes and information, identify problems and develop effective solutions and strategies
  • Ability to build consensus and relationships with Management and team members across multiple groups
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience with demand planning and/or product supply planning preferred
