ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintains direct client responsibility on all aspects of HR and bridges the connection between HR work and business objectives
  • Takes a proactive approach with the business/clients on anticipating needs, suggesting improvements, and driving the success of the organization
  • Leads organizational design/alignment activities with clients
  • Works with business leaders on workforce planning (in partnership with Staffing).Delivers HR related training and takes part in development of employees and managers; guides managers on establishing development plans
  • Applies organizational development tools and principles to identify needs and develop interventions, including team effectiveness sessions
  • Partners with OD on succession planning
  • Management coaching to include executives
  • Coaches managers and employees on performance improvement/corrective action
  • Provides conflict management facilitation
  • Works with clients on employee retention, both proactive and real-time
  • Partners with managers on employee engagement; understands and represents both the employee and management viewpoint to strengthen employee engagement
  • Implements and administers HR programs and services (Annual Compensation Review, Short term and long term incentive planning, performance management process, Talent Review Board process, etc.); ensures staff members are meeting objectives
  • Facilitates change management
  • Accurately explains company policies & procedures and suggests changes as needed
  • Educates managers re: employment law, good management practices, ensures compliance with all laws
  • Assists and educates managers with job scoping process, job descriptions. development of career paths , compensation  and promotion decisions
  • Works with the HR leadership team (and site leaders if applicable) to develop and execute employee communications as needed
  • Provides HR data for business leaders to inform business decisions
  • Participates in process improvement activity within HR and across the organizationInitiates projects and initiatives that provide support to business objectives
  • Manages large or cross-functional projects (e.g., acquisitions, company-wide alignment, etc.)Exhibits and promotes company values
  • Actively seeks out self-development – keeps up with employment law, trends; gains  new skills/tools
  • Global responsibilities (staff and clients located in many different countries all with different laws  and practices)   
REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or equivalent experience preferred
  • Years of Experience (General Guidelines): 12 years or more
  • Experience supporting High-tech industries
  • Demonstrated experience supporting global clients and navigating in a global HR workforce
  • SPHR and/or certification in MBTI, DiSC, and other programs preferred
  • Knowledge of sales compensation and sales programs a huge PLUS.
SKILLS:
  • Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written to present complex/controversial ideas and recommendations in a clear and concise manner
  • Skills in counseling, consulting, and negotiating to interact effectively with all levels of employees throughout the organization
  • Able to deal with problems involving several concrete and abstract variables in non-routine situations
  • Able to perform substantive analysis regarding complex issues and recommend feasible solutions
  • Able to partner with, build relationships and effectively influence and coach senior management
  • Able to create and assess comprehensive reports
  • Exhibits personal initiative and drive for results; tenacity
  • Ability to make appropriate judgments about prioritization and correlation between effort and value achieved from the effort
  • Experience creating and maintaining collaborative and consultative business partnerships with senior management, HR business partners, and HR colleagues; political savvy
  • Ability to facilitate  Advanced knowledge about federal and state employment laws
  • A breadth of knowledge in employee relations, organizational development, compensation, staffing,  and training
  • Grasps business fundamentals; sound business acumen
  • Seeks to understands the business and client challenges, strengths, and needs
  • Applies business analytics to decisions
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to work to deadlines, often with short notice, while successfully managing multiple business-driven corporate initiatives and management responsibilities.
