Western Digital is seeking a Business Marketing Analyst who will be responsible for all aspects of Retail programs and pricing in North America. The ideal candidate will be data driven, self-motivated, and flexible to frequent changes. The candidate will have strong business and operational instincts, communication, and analytical skills. Attention to details, ability to work independently and willingness to be hands-on are essential pre-requisites for success in this role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Analyze, develop and maintain pricing, promotions and programs for distribution, retail and Etail channels while enable profitable growth of the business in key markets, and across multiple product categories
  • Ability to work under pressure and provide high quality responses in a short turnaround.
  • Comfortable with changing needs, priorities, multi-tasking, ambiguity and short deadlines.
  • Analyze ad hoc requests as well as long-term strategic programs.
  • Anticipate and understand competitive pricing activities and demand/supply environment.
  • Work closely with Sales and Product marketing teams to understand customer’s needs and be able to propose optimal solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including but not limited to Sales, Product Marketing, Finance, Sales Operations, Legal and Market Analytics.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • A strong team player with exceptional interpersonal skills to drive alignment and support others to achieve shared goals.

REQUIRED: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Data Analytics, Math or Statistics (Master's degree in related area is a plus). Data analytical and Retail experience preferred. 
  • 3+ years of working experience in roles involving sales, operations, pricing and profitability management
  • Critical thinker with positive energy and proactive business approach
  • Proven ability to achieve results in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed, but with a strong team ethic.
