The Compliance Analyst – Southeast Asia Region is responsible for promoting compliance with the WDC Global Code of Conduct, all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards in Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines (and as needed at other sites).



  • Within the Southeast Asia region, managing and improving WDC’s Ethics and Compliance program and strengthening our ethical culture.
  • Developing and acting on local ethics and compliance priorities to promote employee awareness of Ethics and Compliance policies, processes and guidelines.
  • Regularly leading discussions with cross-functional teams of employees.
  • Developing, coordinating and delivering compliance training.
  • Guiding and facilitating Compliance Champions program across multiple Company sites, to help champions foster culture of compliance, create awareness, and triage employee requests at their sites.
  • Facilitating employee participation and completion of various annual compliance requirements including online training, Global Code of Conduct acknowledgments and compliance disclosure surveys.
  • Monitoring and advising on legal and regulatory changes that impact WDC’s business.
  • Conducting compliance monitoring and assisting in audits, including customer audits.
  • Occasionally assisting with corporate investigations, as directed by legal counsel.
  • Conducting risk assessments.
  • Regularly updating the compliance program based on emerging risks and best practices.
  • Interacting & engaging with employees at all levels of the organization to build awareness on the importance of compliance and ethics.
  • Providing advice and counsel on legal and compliance issues, including counsel relating to procurement and regulatory issues.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law (or equivalent) with a strong academic record or any related fields.
  • A Minimum of 6 - 8 years of experience managing legal/ethics and compliance matters, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of compliance laws, including Anti-Corruption, Anti-Trust, Insider trading, Privacy and related areas.
  • Ability to effectively communicate legal and compliance issues verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive, exercise independent judgment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to speak English is required; additional language abilities may be beneficial.
  • Regular travel throughout Southeast Asia will be required; occasional travel to other global locations may be required.
  • Location availability depends on candidate registrations and locations (Thailand, Penang-Malaysia or Philippine).

  • Experience working with people from diverse backgrounds.
