RAMP Product Marketing & Product Management Internship Program

We are seeking highly motivated students to be a part of our RAMP Product Marketing and Product Management Internship Programs. These paid internships are designed to jump start your career, offering on-the-job and supplemental training in addition to robust mentorship. You will work alongside the brightest minds in the industry to drive the innovation necessary to outpace new demands and challenges created by data.

What is the RAMP Program? The RAMP Program is supplemental to your day-to-day intern responsibilities. In this program, you will take a deeper dive into professional life at Western Digital by getting exposure to different parts of the organization. Some RAMP Program elements include:

• On the job training and mentorship with industry professionals
• Professional development trainings
• Executive exposure
• Networking events with other interns and Western Digital employees

• Provide support in the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementing of strategic business objectives, define vision, strategies, tactics and select, develop, and manage internal and external resources required to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
• Drive and own short-to-medium term initiatives for evolving our connected storage products and services based on customer personas and use-cases and identifying new areas of growth
• Process, review and interpret qualitative and quantitative data on competition, customers, usage / metrics to uncover new product insights and drive engagement
• Collaborate cross functionally, with various internal functions including product marketing, engineering, legal, and IT to ensure integration success; be a primary point of contact for any potential or current project status.

• Product Marketing: Current student, pursuing a Business Marketing, Business Management, or related undergraduate degree, graduating between December 2021 and June 2022
• Product Management: Current student, pursuing a Computer Science or Information Technology degree, combined with Economics, Business, or MBA, graduating between December 2021 and June 2022
• Minimum of 3.0 GPA
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized
• Strategic thinker with excellent planning and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced and limited resource environment
• Related industry/market experience not required but may include; digital photography, mobile electronics, gaming, computing, or peripherals.
• Passionate about gadgets (consumer electronics)
• Strong technical skills in area of study
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
